Welcome to Our Class!

This year we will be working on being better than we have been before! I hope to work with your students on bettering their study habits, honing in on their strengths, and recognizing and working on their weaknesses. I am so excited to have the opportunity to teach at OBHS and spend time with your students! OB Pride all the time!

 

 

 

 

 

About Mrs. Goodwin

Education and Experience:

 I received my Bachelor's in Elementary Education from the University of Mississippi. I then completed my Master's Degree in Secondary Education with a focus in science. Prior to teaching at Olive Branch, I taught two years at Grenada High School. In August of 2023 I received my Master's of Science in Biological Sciences. I am currently working on my PhD in Secondary Education Science at the University of Mississippi.

 

Certification(s):

 I have earned my certification for grades Kindergarten through twelfth in science, social studies, English, mild/moderate disabilities and Biology. I also have my K-6 certification in math. I have a Masters Degree in Secondary Education from Mississippi State University, Masters of Science in Biological Sciences from Clemson University, and I am currently pursing a PhD in Secondary Education in Science at the University of Mississippi.

 

Personal Info:

When I am not at school, I love to spend time with my dogs, ride motorcycles, and cook great food. My favorite thing to drink is a cup of coffee and I love some queso with my dinner! Science is my favorite subject. I especially love teaching about animals and genetics! I cannot wait to see what this year brings!
