Summer Reading Assignments. AP seniors are to read BOTH novels prior to class.

1. 1984-George Orwell
2. The Kite Runner – Khaled Hosseini

Summer reading will be evaluated during the first week of class. If the class is during the fall semester, testing will occur the first week of class in August.  If the class is during the spring semester, testing will occur during the first week of school in January. Students will be allowed to use his or her personal novel during each test, so it is important to take notes in the book and highlight important events, characters, and passages to make testing easier.
