A message to my students!
Whether I have taught you before or never met you at all, I am so excited you are in my class ! I can't wait to see what all you can accomplish in my classroom, and even long after you have left my room. Once you are my student, you are a student for life!

Bio
Hello, I am Kaylie Groves! I grew up in Olive Branch my whole life, and I attended Olive Branch schools my entire education career K-12th grade. It is an honor to be back teaching in the same high school I attended.
When people ask me why I want to be a teacher, I always respond with "it is the only thing I have ever wanted to be." I remember sitting in my kindergarten classroom daydreaming about my future classrooms at only 6 years old. Teaching is not just a job for me, it is my passion. I love coming up with fun, innovated materials and activities for my students. If you walk into my room on any given day you may see my students using flexible seating, having a quick wiggle break, or participating in cooperative learning materials. You will also see laughter, kindness, and encouragement. I believe education is deeper than the academic materials a student may know. If they haven't learned how to be a good person deep down, education is all for nothing!
"A good teacher is like a candle - it consumes itself to light the way for others." -Anonymous
