About the Teacher
I have a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature, History, and Psychology from the University of Mississippi. Currently, I am working toward a Master's Degree in Secondary Education at Mississippi State University.
This is my twelfth year teaching! During my twelve years, I have held several positions in DeSoto County Schools, across multiple grade levels. Teaching high school English is truly my dream job. I'm excited to be here at OBHS!
Though I'm a native of Spring Hill, TN, I consider Mississippi my home; I've lived here for over 19 years. I live in Olive Branch with my husband, Steve, and our two sons, Drew and Eli. We also have two furry family members (dogs) - Titan and Tess.
Drew is a freshman at the University of Montevallo in Alablama, where he is majoring in mathematics and competes on the Montevallo Mens Cross Country and Track teams. Eli is a junior at OBHS and plays on the OB football team. My husband and I stay busy keeping up with both boys and their activities.
As a family, we love sports of all sorts and we love to travel together.
