A message to my students!

Whether I have taught you before or never met you at all, I am so excited you are in my class ! I can't wait to see what all you can accomplish in my classroom, and even long after you have left my room. Once you are my student, you are a student for life!

Bio

Hello, I am Kaylie Groves! I grew up in Olive Branch my whole life, and I attended Olive Branch schools my entire education career K-12th grade. It is an honor to be back teaching in the same high school I attended.

When people ask me why I want to be a teacher, I always respond with "it is the only thing I have ever wanted to be." I remember sitting in my kindergarten classroom daydreaming about my future classrooms at only 6 years old. Teaching is not just a job for me, it is my passion. I love coming up with fun, innovated materials and activities for my students.

"A good teacher is like a candle - it consumes itself to light the way for others." -Anonymous
