Welcome to Our Class!
Welcome to Nutrition and Wellness. This course will be a 9 weeks overview of what our bodies need for fuel and how to cook fantastic food. My goal is to educated students on the importance of food and how what we eat really does matter. Students will learn how to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals as well. About the Teacher
My name is Morgan Brinkley, and I am originally from Memphis, TN. This is my 8th year teaching, and I am ecstatic to be teaching Nutrition and Wellness. I graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelors Degree in Communications and Public Relations, but I decided I wanted to be a teacher. I completed the Mississippi Alternate Path for Qualified Teachers and I am licensed to teach Family and Consumer Science classes.
My husband, Carter, and I live in Midtown in Memphis, and we have a dog Tobie; he is basically our child. .
My hobbies include running in the St. Jude half marathon, painting, and obviously cooking. I love to read and watch movies. My favorite shows are basically anything on the food network, The Office, Parks and Rec., and all the Harry Potter movies.
