About the Teacher

I have worked for Olive Branch High School since 2006/2007. Most of my childhood was spend living in Memphis, TN, then my parents moved us to Southaven, MS. I graduated from SHS in 1992. I then married my husband of 22 years (this May). We have one son, Drew, who graduated from OBHS in 2017. I started at OBHS in the attendance office, then moved on to every other job in the office throughout the years. After many colleagues telling me that I really needed to be in the classroom, did I finally decide to go back to college.

In 2017 I earned by Bachelors Degree from The University of MS. I am a certified History, English, and Special Education Teacher. Once I got my degree I started working for OBHS as a Special Education Inclusion Teacher in the History Department, and I could not have been happier!!!

In 2019/2020 I was also given the opportunity to be the Director for the OBHS Drama Department!! I jumped at this chance, although this was quite a daunting task. Those are might big shoes to fill after Mrs. Carol McRae and Mrs. Chelsea Cole had run the program for so long. With that in mind, I decided to give the Drama Club students the chance to pick out the show, they picked "The Addams Family, School Edition".

*****The dates have been postponed due to the Covid-19 virus, HOWEVER - the show WILL go on. Just don't know when yet.....When we have those dates, I will post them for everyone.
