About Me:
My name is Rosemary Jones. I have been teaching in DCS for 22 years. This is my 2nd year in special education.
My husband Sam is also a teacher at OBHS. He will leave teaching after this year to pursue his ministry and education to become a full time pastor. We have two children who both attend Olive Branch Schools. Our daughter Lydia is a 7th grader this year and our son Patrick is a junior.
We live in our community where we teach. We love being a part of Olive Branch. We are grateful and blessed to be able to live in such a wonderful town.
I love my job and my students. They teach me way more than I could ever teach them. I am so blessed to be their teacher. My assistant teacher, Jodie Harris and I work hard to provide the best possible learning experiences for our students. She is just one more reason why I am so blessed to be at OBHS every day.
My philosophy as an educator is to have an open door relationship with students and families. I believe honest communication and building relationships is the best way to accomplish what needs to be done. Anything is possible even if your outcome may look different than your original plan. We must always stay motivated and do our best to be the best we can be for ourselves and others.
